Casting has been announced for two new plays which will form part of the Bush Theatre’s Autumn Winter 2017 season – Of Kith and Kin and Ramona Tells Jim.
Of Kith And Kin, which is a Bush Theatre and Sheffield Theatres co-production, will star Joanna Bacon (Lydia and Carrie), Donna Berlin (Arabelle), James Lance (Daniel), Chetna Pandya (Priya) and Joshua Silver (Oliver). Sheffield Theatres Artistic Director Robert Hastie will direct the new comedy from Albion writer Chris Thompson. The production will run in the Bush Theatre from 18 October until 25 November.
In the Bush Theatre Studio, Ramona Tells Jim’s cast will include Ruby Bentall (Ramona), Joe Bannister (Jim) and Amy Lennox). Ramona Tells Jim, which is written by Sophie Wu and will be directed by Mel Hillyard, is a darkly comic play about confession and the gravity of young love. The play runs from 20 September until 21 October.
