Comedian Ed Byrne, who is currently performing his stand-up show Different Class at the Vaudeville theatre, has extended the run of the show by an extra two weeks. Originally playing until 19 September, the show will now run until 3 October.
A recognisable face from his appearance on television shows including Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You, Irish comic Byrne is among the cream of the stand-up crop.
In Different Class, he bemoans his inability to fit in with middle-class or working-class, young or old, famous or unknown, as well as tackling topics including films, marriage and anything else that has exasperated him recently.
Byrne is one of a number of comedians entertaining West End audiences this autumn. Inspirational improviser Ross Noble opened his current show Things at the Apollo theatre this week. He is followed in October by remarkable ranter Dylan Moran.
At the Vaudeville theatre, Byrne is followed by the revival of The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice, which stars Diana Vickers, Lesley Sharp and Marc Warren.
