The Bush Theatre has today announced BushGreen Live, a series of free post-show Q&A’s, panel discussions and informal chats to give a deeper insight into the ideas explored in its work.
These live events will aim to provide audiences, and especially solo attenders, the chance to find meaning through conversation and reflection upon work they are seeing. The Bush will ask big questions about the world now: from the nuance of dramatic creation, to global patterns and current affairs.
A post-show panel will accompany the performance of Javaad Alipoor’s play about extremism, The Believers Are But Brothers, on Thursday 1 February, as well as the returning Monica Dolan hit The B*easts, written and starring the BAFTA Award-winning actress, on Tuesday 19 February. The latter will also host a post-show Q&A on Thursday 22 February.
Additionally, Arinzé Kene’s new epic, lyrical play Misty will hold a post-show panel on Wednesday 28 March, a post-show Q&A on Thursday 12 April, and an in-theatre dialogue with fellow audience members on Wednesday 18 April.
The Green is a prominent feature of the Shepherd’s Bush area, where people can come to meet, talk and pause, surrounded by the city around them. The theatre’s BushGreen initiative is inspired by this space to reflect and start new conversations among writers and audiences, online and in the world.
