Ballroom extravaganza Burn the Floor returns to London in October with the UK premiere of international smash-hit Fire In The Ballroom.
14 champion dancers will breathe new life into classics such as the Viennese waltz, foxtrot, samba, tango and jive, while singers, backed by a live band, will re-interpret a diverse range of music from Santana to Led Zeppelin.
This production has been created over the past two years by choreographer Peta Roby, based on original choreography by Jason Gilkison. Gilkison and Roby are World, British and International Latin Dance Champions and have performed for more than 35 years. Gilkison has previously worked on television series So You Think You Can Dance and is also Director of Choreography on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Burn The Floor will play at the Peacock Theatre from 18 October – 5 November 2016, with free post-show ballroom classes on Tuesday 25 October and Tuesday 1 November.
You can book tickets for this dance spectacular through the theatre’s official website.
