Brainiac brings science to Palace

First Published 13 May 2013, Last Updated 14 May 2013

Aspiring young scientists should get ready to strap on their safety goggles this summer as Brainiac Live! prepares to stun audiences at the Palace theatre with its unique take on the testing subject.

Based on the hugely popular Sky One series, Brainiac Live!’s summer season, which runs from 18 July to 17 August, will mark the first time that the science-steeped show has ever played in the West End.

Directed by Andy Joyce and performed by Rik Warren and Joyce, Brainiac Live! promises to take audiences on a breathless ride through the wild world of the weird and wonderful, delving fearlessly into the mysteries of science to do all of those things on stage that are too scary to do at home.

While young theatregoers will have their minds blown with scintillating science during daytime performances of Brainiac Live!, psychological illusionist Derren Brown will baffle older brains at the Palace theatre with his new show Infamous, which plays alongside the family show from 24 June to 17 August.
