Tickets are now available for the Society of London Theatre’s annual extravaganza of family-friendly fun, Kids Week in the West End.
Excited parents with even more excited children can get one free child’s ticket (5 to 16 years old) with every full paying adult for more than 30 of London’s most popular shows. As part of the Kids Week deal, another two children can also go half price.
The 13th annual Kids Week, which actually runs for a fortnight between 13 and 27 August, also offers interested children a chance to get involved in the London theatre scene, with a wide variety of activities and workshops available enabling kids to experience more of theatrical life. Singing, dancing and acting workshops and Q&As with the cast will give kids a chance to learn more about their favourite shows.
Talking about Kids Week in the West End, former Hollyoaks star and Strictly Come Dancing runner up Ali Bastian, who will be performing in new dance show Burn The Floor this summer, said: “It’s important for children to have the opportunity to get into theatre from an early age because it’s just a fantastic experience. It’s really good for learning how to work with other people, improving social skills, it’s very collaborative and definitely a great opportunity to build confidence and of course just to have some fun!”
