Sadler’s Wells are bouncing into the Christmas spirit by announcing Travelling Light Theatre Company’s BOING! will play the Lillian Baylis Studio this December.
A Christmas show with a difference, BOING! combines acrobatics, breakdance and comedy as two boys, too excited to sleep on Christmas Eve, turn their bed into a trampoline.
Capturing the delirious excitement of waiting for Father Christmas to arrive with your presents on the most magical night of the year, BOING! opens on 15 December (previews from 13 December) and is performed by one of the UK’s leading b-boying dance companies, Champloo Dance Company.
Champloo Dance Company founders Joel Daniel and Wilkie Branson will perform the roles of the excitable brothers. The show is directed by Sally Cookson whose previous children’s shows include We’re Going On A Bear Hunt at the Duchess theatre and numerous credits at the Bristol Old Vic where BOING! premiered last Christmas.
BOING! is suitable for children aged three and over and runs until 31 December.
