Current Legally Blonde stars Simon Thomas and Siobhan Dillon are to appear opposite Amy Booth-Steel and Gabriel Vick in Ex at the Soho theatre.
The new British musical runs at the Off-West End venue from 10 November until 3 December.
The tale of twisted love lives follows the gawkily attractive Ruby (Booth-Steel) and cocky Jack (Vick). When they were together he walked all over her, but now she is full of confidence and has a new lover, Keith (Thomas), with whom she is about to emigrate. Will her feelings for Jack return when she decides to meet him one last time, and will Jack abandon his new lover Claire (Dillon)?
Both Booth-Steel and Dillon are graduates of Andrew Lloyd-Webber TV audition shows, with Booth-Steel making the final 12 of the search for a Nancy, I’d Do Anything, and Dillon reaching the final three of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? Booth-Steel’s credits include Sister Act and the Bristol Old Vic production of Swallows And Amazons, while Dillon has appeared in Grease and the UK tour of Cabaret.
Before joining Legally Blonde The Musical, Thomas appeared in Into The Woods at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and Marguerite at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Vick’s West End credits include La Cage Aux Folles and A Little Night Music.
