Black Womxn In Theatre and Eclipse Theatre in partnership with Bush Theatre have created a new campaign to support Black, Asian, ethnically diverse and migrant arts workers facing redundancy – the #AllOfUs Redundancy Care Campaign.
The campaign will provide assistance to those suffering with their finances as well as their mental health as well as those in, with practical support as well as financial support available.
Part of the support available will be a four-week programme to help people upskill and empower workers who face employment uncertainty. The#HereToStay programme will include masterclasses, coaching, mentoring, plus CV and application guidance from leading experts in the sector.
Black Womxn In Theatre is a group that celebrates and advocates for Black womxn in the theatre industry, spearheaded by Stella Kanu (Executive Director at LIFT and Chair at Eclipse Theatre), Monique Baptiste-Brown (arts marketer, academic and researcher), Annika Brown (General Manager of Theatre Royal Stratford East) and Titilola Dawudu (writer and editor).
