Former Britain’s Got Talent star Aaron Crow will add even more mystifying magic to hit West End show Impossible when he joins the jaw-dropping line-up for its final week of performances at London’s Noël Coward Theatre.

The sword-wielding dare devil, who fuses suspense and danger with winning charm without speaking a single word, will join Impossible on 24 August.

The world renowned Belgian magician wowed audiences on ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent by chopping a pineapple in half on presenter Ant McPartlin’s head while blindfolded, not to mention shooting an apple off Declan Donnelly’s noggin in a nail-biting William Tell-inspired stunt.

Talking about joining the show, Crow said: “I’m thrilled and honoured to be joining Impossible alongside such a talented group of illusionists and magicians, and looking forward to bringing some of my magic to the West End for the last week of the run.”

He joins a line-up that has been entertaining West End audiences since the show began its run on 25 July. They include TV escapologist Jonathan Goodwin, grand illusionist Luis De Matos, mind-reader Chris Cox, digital marvel Jamie Allan, magician Ben Hart and sleight of hand master Ali Cook. Goodwin remains in the show until 21 August.

Described by Official London Theatre’s Charlotte Marshall as “An evening of mind-boggling fun”, Impossible will play at the Noël Coward Theatre until 29 August when the show embarks on a UK tour.

It will be followed into the West End venue by the UK premiere of Anna Ziegler’s DNA drama Photograph 51, which will see Nicole Kidman make her first London stage return in more than 15 years, from 5 September.
