Actor Ben Hanson, best known to younger TV viewers as Bouncer from CBBC show Tracey Beaker, will play an elf with a serious work ethic problem in London this Christmas.
Hanson will be appearing in the title role of The Lazy Elf when it runs at the Arts theatre in December, running from 10 to 22 December.
The Lazy Elf is the story of Larry, one of Santa’s little helpers who would rather take a sneaky snooze than make toys for the world’s good little girls and boys.
The interactive 55-minute musical, in which the audience has to help Larry discover the value of hard work and the true meaning of Christmas, is written and directed by Jo Noel-Hartley, a vocal coach who has worked with the likes of Sting, Lionel Ritchie, Lemar, Shania Twain and the Spice Girls.
