Immersive theatre company Theatre Delicatessen is to bring a brand new marketplace marvel to the Bush theatre this summer when Bush Bazaar runs from 31 July until 18 August.
The summer production will see the West London venue overrun by an array of eclectic performers, each eager to sell their entertaining wares. Audience members decide which performers they would like to see perform and can haggle, barter and pay what they think for the privilege.
Among the artists and companies involved in the souk for the soul are Amanda Castro, Afsaneh Gray, Birds Anonymous, Catherine Harvey, Erica Miller, Hobo, Limbic Productions, Joanna Turner & Petra Hjortsberg, Julianne Von Sivers, Kate O’Connor, Old Bomb Theatre Company, Sophie Rebecca Grodin, StampCollective and Tea Fuelled.
Bush Bazaar opens at the Shepherd’s Bush venue following the run of current drama Fear, Dominic Savage’s debut play about a street robbery that goes wrong.
