Comedian Frank Skinner’s antidote to the recession, the Credit Crunch Cabaret, has announced a third round of Monday night shows at the Lyric theatre this autumn.
The show, which offers audiences the chance to see a succession of top-class comedy and music acts for a pocket-pleasing £10, began with an initial five dates in February and March, before extending its run to 27 April. After a summer break, the Credit Crunch Cabaret now returns to the Lyric on Monday nights from 12 October to 14 December.
Hosted by comedian Frank Skinner, the ever-changing line-up so far has included comedy from David Baddiel, Jenny Éclair, Dave Gorman, Michael McIntyre and Al Murray and music from Ian Broudie, Connie Fisher, Goldie Lookin Chain and Tara Palmer Tomkinson.
Details of the line-up for the new dates are as yet unannounced.
Frank Skinner’s Credit Crunch Cabaret shares the Lyric theatre with Thriller – Live, the Michael Jackson tribute show which has been running at the venue since 2 January.
