It’s hard to believe there will ever be anyone as uniquely talented as Michael Jackson again, but while the world still mourns one of pop’s greatest icons, Thriller Live is doing its utmost to bring the musician’s electric performances and sensational musical catalogue to Jacko fans every night.
The show has now been bringing its moonwalking, white glove-wearing entertainment to audiences for more than six years and recently celebrated its 3,000th performance in the West End. A visual and audible feast, the show brings MJ’s incredible music to life from the early songs he performed as one fifth of The Jackson 5 to his later solo smash hits. Whether you are a Dirty Diana obsessive or Smooth Criminal lover, the show is more than likely to feature your favourite track.
So far the longest running show in the Lyric Theatre’s 125-year history has yet to pick up an Olivier Award but, with the production one of the 16 eligible for this year’s Magic Radio Audience Award, 2016 could be its year.
Thriller Live’s Dajiow explains why he thinks the show deserves your all-important vote in the video above.
Thriller Live is booking at the Lyric Theatre to 23 April 2017. You can book tickets through us here.
