Audience Award 2016: Stomp

First Published 4 March 2016, Last Updated 11 March 2016

It’s the show that speaks to audiences of all nationalities through its innovative language of music made from the unlikeliest of objects. From dustbin lids and brooms to matchboxes, oil cans and a lighter, Stomp’s hugely talented cast of performers will ensure you never look at your household objects in the same way ever again.

Now having played in the West End for close to 15 years, its unbeatable combination of rhythm, theatre, comedy and dance has made it one of London’s best loved and most unusual treats.

The show is one of 16 eligible for the Olivier Awards 2016 with MasterCard’s Magic Radio Audience Award and a win would keep its choreographers’ Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas’ Olivier Award company following their win for the show’s original 1994 run.

Watch the video above to hear from one of the show’s stars, Rob Shaw, explaining why the show is so special and deserves your all-important vote.

Stomp is booking at the Ambassadors Theatre to 7 January. You can book tickets through us here.

Voting for the Magic Radio Audience Award has now closed.
