Opera Holland Park’s critically acclaimed family show Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland will return this summer following two hit runs.
Staged in the open in west London’s Yucca Lawn at the opera company’s Holland Park home, Lewis Carroll’s magical story will be brought back to life in this opera for small children 150 years after the novel was first published.
Playing from 16 July to 1 August, the production, which boasts a creative team including composer Will Todd and librettist Maggie Gottlieb, has this year partnered with Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity with collections for the children’s charity taking place at each performance.
Speaking about the charity’s involvement, Opera Holland Park’s producer James Clutton said: “We’re delighted to be working with Rainbow Trust. It’s such a wonderful feeling knowing this partnership means we can contribute towards continuing the charity’s inspiring work to help families in need.”
