West End star Alex Gaumond takes us into the sun-drenched (mostly) world of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, with a photo diary of a day on the acclaimed production.
It’s not all stealing unsuspecting wives-to-be and whisking them away to inaccessible snow-covered mountain farms either, there’s more warm-ups and fighting practice than in a WWE main event.
That’s only to be expected from a show that features stunning full-cast dance routines and mass brawls choreographed by Alistair David and Kate Waters respectively, but who knew certain sequences have to be rehearsed every day to ensure they’re beat perfect?
